Julia Moen, DC, CCSP, IFMCP, FRCms
Dr. Julia Moen began her career as an athletic trainer, building a strong foundation in movement, performance, and injury prevention before earning her doctorate as a sports chiropractor. She is also an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP), integrating a root-cause, systems-based approach into patient care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Moen has treated a wide range of patients—from everyday individuals to professional and elite athletes—using a comprehensive, movement-focused and functional medicine approach. She has advanced training in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Vojta Therapy, Graston Technique, fascial manipulation, and a variety of soft tissue therapies, allowing her to address complex musculoskeletal and neurological patterns.
Dr. Moen has a special focus on women’s health, serving as a pregnancy and postpartum exercise specialist with additional training in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is Webster certfied. She is experienced in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities including shockwave therapy, laser, PEMF, ARPwave, NerveOTX, and more to optimize healing and recovery.
Her global health experience includes working in underserved communities in Bangladesh and Ecuador, where she collaborated alongside medical doctors to provide care and education to local populations. This experience continues to shape her commitment to accessible, patient-centered healthcare.
Dr. Moen practices in a collaborative, teach-forward environment and has worked closely with surgeons, primary care physicians, OB/GYNs, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. Her passion lies in redefining the standard of care—shifting the approach to pain, performance, and aging toward proactive, root-cause, and integrative solutions.
Outside of practice, she spends her time with her three children and husband. She enjoys life on her mini farm and loves to provide community outreach programs.
